SERVICES PROVIDED:

• Procurement, installation, repair and maintenance of all voice telecommunications services. Feature changes on telephones. Review and recommend telecommunications systems for clients. Training on equipment use and feature use. mail.
  
  
  
• Procurement, installation, repair and maintenance of all voice telecommunications equipment such as facsimiles, phones, TDD's, etc.

The Telephone Network Section has the management, operation and control of the Nebraska State government switched telephone network (NeTcomm). The network includes a number of electronic automatic switching systems with computer-controlled call routing selectors, and generally includes all State government telephone equipment and facilities connected to State government or the public switched telephone network.

The Telephone Network Section also has responsibility for all network services such as:

• local service; long distance service; 800 service; Conference Calling voice mail; automatic call distributors; telecommunications equipment;
  
  
  
• Calling card services

This section has prepared a list of pre-approved specific fax machines that are under $1,500.00 and can be purchased directly by the Agency. The Division also assists agencies in the purchase of all telecommunications related devices. Additionally, the telephone section takes orders for new service, changes to existing service or disconnection of service.

The staff can assist with feature changes to your telephones, training on telephone features, and procurement of telecommunications equipment. The Telephone Network Section stands ready to assist customers in planning and meeting their present and future telecommunications needs.
