Open Systems Storage Area Network (SAN)

Description

Open Systems (MS Windows, Linux, etc) Storage Area Network is a large amount of disk storage that can be used over separate servers for data storage.

Business Value

Storage Area Networks allow connectivity via a host bus adapter (HBA) or iSCSI in an effort to combine data storage needs and maintain data in one location thus streamlining data protection needs, such as:
