Description
Workflow Automation provides the capability through Domino/Lotus Notes to automate office processes and help people work together more efficiently. This is a programming service to customize databases/applications to meet the needs of the customer’s business. This can be an internal Lotus Notes application or a Web-based application.
Business Value
Workflow Automation helps agencies function more efficiently by
- Eliminating and/or bringing efficiency to paper processes;
- Streamlining office procedures to reduce cost and processing time;
- Reducing overhead associated with paper, printing, storage, mailing and filing;
- Improving service with more accurate tracking of request status via reminders, ticklers, central location for lookup; and
- Increasing availability of information to authorized people.
Customer Profile
State agencies, boards, and commissions; political subdivisions (e.g., cities, counties, community colleges and school districts); and federal agencies that handle significant volumes of forms and requests and want to:
- Reduce costs related to processing volumes of forms or requests;
- Create controls and efficiencies in relationship to processing forms and requests;
- Improve the overall service of their business; and
- Improve availability and security of information.
Service Cost
Once the workflow has been developed, transaction and hosting fees will be charged according to the current rate.
