Closed Circuit Television (CCTV)

Description

This service involves the installation of coax cabling and television sets to receive the State’s CCTV broadcasts.

Installation of CCTV service includes the coax cable and the use of a television set. Two sizes of sets are available for use (13” and 19”). Agencies may use their own television sets if another size is desirable. Agencies may also use audio/video devices (VCR, DVD, etc.) on the CCTV system. These devices are agency owned and not provided as part of the CCTV service.

Business Value

Recipients of CCTV broadcasts have the ability to view legislative hearings, governor’s office broadcasts, and satellite down-links via NET. These broadcasts are not available through private cable TV companies or off over-the-air broadcasts. CCTV also provides access to most major network broadcasts.
