Description
The Conference Calls service allows multiple parties to be on the same call at the same time. Up to 45 people may be included in a call. This service is offered through an agreement with the University of Nebraska. By sharing services, costs can be held down and the savings are passed on to customers. The current cost per call is significantly less than calls from other providers. Multiple bridges are available so there are few conflicts on date and time. Secure and non-secure options are available. Toll-free numbers are also available. Conference call operators set up and initiate the call. Customers simply indicate the date and time of the call.
Business Value
This service provides low-cost, convenient conference calls. The rates for long distance and toll-free calls are significantly less than the rates charged by other providers. There is no equipment to purchase. Additional telephone lines are not needed. No staff is needed to maintain the equipment or to schedule the bridges. The service uses existing 800 numbers, eliminating the need for additional 800 numbers.
