Public Safety Wireless
(Radio Equipment & Frequency Spectrum Management)

Description

This service will analyze your communications needs, make recommendations, procure wireless equipment, and track equipment and systems through disposal. Staff will simplify the development and implementation of public safety wireless service by:

  • Providing expert advise
  • Providing continuity of technology direction
  • Providing strategic direction for future needs
  • Matching technologies to business requirements
  • Providing project management
  • Coordinating wireless services between agencies
  • Providing compatible solutions

The service also includes assistance with frequency licensing including:

  • FCC application
  • Frequency coordination
  • License renewals/modifications
